Angelica Arinze is a senior audience engagement producer at the Houston Landing. She was previously the audience producer at Grist and served as an engagement fellow at the Texas Tribune. There, she cultivated her passion for audience engagement strategy and finding unique approaches to reach readers to promote a better-informed public. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. Born and raised in Reno, Nevada, she moved to Houston at the age of 14. She is excited to return to the Bayou City and explore new things the city has to offer. When she’s not working, she loves trying out new food spots, sending her friends and siblings funny TikToks or diving into a good read.
